The evidence of a massive impact is a thin layer of iridium-rich sediment found in sedimentary rocks around the world, and dating to 65 million years, exactly when the dinosaurs disappeared, plus the discovery of a crater 100 miles in diameter on the west coast of Mexico, also dating to 65 million years.

(1) Most of the dinosaurs died off quickly about 65 million years ago (the Cretatious-Tertiary, or “K-T” boundary). However, there is evidence that they had been in a slower process of disappearing before the K-T extinction event. The actual precise age of the event is disputed, with some scientists dating it 300,00 years earlier. However, 300,000 years represents a fraction of time compared to 65 million years, and therefore doesn’t mean much.
(2) There is a very specific layer of sediment that can be found worldwide, which is 65 million years old. Below the layer are dinosaur fossils. Above the layer, there are no dinosaur fossils.
(3) The worldwide layer that I just spoke of contains high amounts of iridium, an element that is very rare naturally occurring element on Earth. However, iridium is common in asteroids, knowledge that we have recovered from meteorites here on the surface of our planet.
(4) The impactor’s estimated size is about 10 km (6 miles) in diameter and is estimated to have released energy equivalent to 100,000,000 megatons of TNT on impact. The largest nuclear weapon in the US arsenal is 25Mt. The largest experimental nuclear device ever exploded was the Soviet Tsar Bomba, during the Cold War, and it had a yield of only 50 megatons, making the Yucatan impact 2 million times more powerful. That is the largest explosion that we actually have any record of having ever occurred in our planet’s history.
(5) The impact created the Chicxulub crater in the Caribbean Sea just off the northern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula. The crater is more than 180 kilometers (110 miles) in diameter, making the feature one of the largest confirmed impact structures in the world; the impacting meteor that formed the crater was at least 10 km (6 miles ) in diameter.
(6) Geologically, it punched a huge crater in Earth’s crust. The impact created a tsunami thousands of feet high that washed thousands of miles into North America, across the Atlantic, and into Europe. I left behind very distinct layers and sequences of tsunami sediments that are obviously from the impact site. Biologically, obviously, the dinosaurs died off. The dinosaurs are just the ones who get the most press – early birds, early mammals, amphibians, all sorts of marine life, bacteria, all sorts of non-dinosaur reptiles, and plants died off at the same time.
(7) To directly support the impact – Core samples into the rock and sediment in the proposed impact area. The tsunami sediments already talked about. The iridium layer. Gravimetric measurements that clearly define the crater (that has since been filled by sediment – but the crater structure cannot hide from gravity measurements). Further evidence – fossil record: plankton and ammonites disappear. Finally, the afore-mentioned dinosaur fossils up to the iridium layer, then no fossils above the layer.

It is important to understand that no one has ever scientifically proven the age of dinosaur fossil remains. As a matter of fact, there is actually more scientific evidence suggesting dinosaurs died off fairly recently, sometime within the history and memory of mankind.
The reason why the Bible doesn’t seem to mention dinosaurs is because the radiometric dating methods scientists are using are inaccurate.
According to the Journal of Geophysical Research, new rock in the form of hardened lava flows produced estimated ages as great as 3 billion to 10.5 billion years when they were actually less than 200 years old.
According to Science Magazine, shells from living snails were carbon dated at around 27,000 years.
Does that sound like an accurate age estimate to you? Well, those are the kind of dating methods scientists are using to date dinosaur bones.
The Bible tells the truth as to what really happened to the dinosaurs, and it makes a whole lot more sense than anything evolutionary scientists say.
Reptiles never stop growing. Back in the days of Adam and Eve up until the days of Noah people lived 900 years which is about 10 times longer than the average lifespan today. If people lived longer, then more than likely animals would have lived longer as well, including lizards. If lizards lived 10 times longer, and reptiles never stop growing until the day they die, then they’d grow about 10 times bigger. So instead of having a 3 ft. long iguana like we have today, back then they’d have a 30 ft. long iguana.
One of the very first dinosaurs ever found was called the iguanadon because of it’s resemblance to the iguana. The man who found it said that it’s skeleton looked just like the skeleton of the iguana except it was alot bigger. Well guess how big it was? 30 feet!
Scientists have found fossilized remains of crocodiles that reached up to 40 to 50 feet in length. They’ve found remains of sea turtles that reached enormous sizes much bigger than any sea turtle today.
Now, fossilization is a very rare and unusual occurrence, not an everyday event. Creation Scientists have found that the conditions that would be most ideal for creating the massive fossil formations found in the sediments would be a violent, global flood catastrophe. Dinosaur remains worldwide are associated with water laid sediment.

The reason why the age of man dropped off so quickly is because of the harsh conditions on the earth after that catastrophic event. Because of those harsh conditions, many reptiles and lizards went extinct. Those reptiles and lizards that did not go extinct (the ones that are still alive today) simply can’t grow as big as they used to, thus there are no dinosaurs around today.

For example, when dinosaur bones containing carbon are found they are NOT carbon dated because carbon dating would produce an age estimate of only a few thousand years (about 3 or 4 thousand years). Because this would not match the assumed age based on the geologic column, scientists use another method of dating which will give an age closer to the desired result. All radiometric results that don’t match up with the preassigned ages of the geologic column are discarded.
The flood in Noah’s day occurred 4,400 years ago.

2. Based on what level the ground is where the fossils are found, what is shared with the fossil(clay:dirt, etc) determines the stage of erroshion(date) the dinosaur lived during (give or take a million years).

6. Major climate change due to dust blocking the sun. The weather probably got burning hot becuase the dust made a blanket for the world. The worlds atmosphere became unstable because of the weather change and tornado’s, hirricanes, and earthquakes happened at mass. Volcano’s errupted from earthquakes messing with the dishes, etc. Disease outbreaks formed from the tempurature drop and rise.
