Can I re use lids if I am jarring baby food?

I made my own green beans for my 5 month old but I mad more than she can eat in 3 days and want to seal the extra jars. I have made jam before but I used new lids when I did that. Can I recycle her previously used baby food jars and lids and re-seal the jars like you do in normal preserving.

Of course just wash them really good :) Maybe even run them through the dishwasher

  2. I would just freeze the baby food in ice cube trays. You aren’t going to need to store the food for as long – as lets say jam – and the cubes will keep for 3 months.
    I hope this is helpful.
