I have hyperthyroidism and am trying to find out the foods I can and cannot eat. Also if there might be a natural cure instead of surgury.
I hope someone has some answers thanks.

Kelp is very good for the Thyroid and helps speed it up because it contains natural iodine. You will also want to include plenty of other seafoods and sea vegetables such as dulse, nori, arame, and ocean fish.Avoid goiterogenic foods that suppress thyroid function such as Cabbage,Soy products,Raw broccoli and Raw cauliflower.Increase protein intake as its essential for thyroid function. And be sure to include plenty of green vegetables.L-tyrosin is also a good one for thyroid function. Many people have success with the natural thyroid Armour rather then synthroid.
