The Army National Guard. You won’t find a militia that is either good at training or free of intolerance.

Edit: CERT isn’t garbage, it is good training for preparing for emergencies, and you can be called upon to help your community.
But if that isn’t to your liking, I suggest volunteering to help the scouts, as they are technically a paramilitary group, just one aimed at children (although one could argue that they are somewhat intolerant to atheists and gays, in reality it hardly comes up).
If you are just interested in shooting people, I’d suggest getting a paintball group together, or maybe just practice at a local shooting range.

i went that website ghost of tom provided, and that’s a government garbage site…not what you are looking for. my suggestion will be to research for yourself for obvious reasons. most of them here are nut cases so be careful!!!

The National Guard?
“Private” militia’s are usually formed by slightly disturbed individuals with an axe to grind and more than a few issues with paranoia. They all have issues.
