you should look into Air Force TACP or Combat Control, that seems like something you might be interested in

How about US Army 19D? Armored Cavalry Reconnaissance or Cav Scout for short.
Don’t worry about the CO score. You’d be suprised at how mechanically un-inclined some crewmembers were.

By everything that you said here I would recommend a few options. First forget about the SEALS . Sere program is POW training school which stands for Survival Evade Resist Extraction program. This program is offered to SOCOM personnel mainly. You would have to be stupid to do it any other way since its not gonna make a difference if you have gone through it or not. If you like adventure enlist in the Marine Corps for 4 years and go as a Grunt 0311 Infantry man if you dont like infantry then go with something simple like communications 0621 or something. All you need is your foot in the door. Once in you can go for a reconnaisance screening and see if you are tough enough to make it to recon training. From there you can go to jump school, dive school, Sere training etc. Believe me if you dont know how to swim and are looking for an adventure nothing beats the Corps. I wouldnt recommend seals for you since they mostly do water based Amphibious operations and have a success rate of staying concealed about 0.1 percent. Or go wild and go to sniper school maybe they will send you on a suicide mission not too long after your training ends and then you can be on your own.

I would go Special Forces or Cav Scout. Do not worry about the scores. I do not know a thing about auto or shop and I scored higher than that. Plus, you can always get waivers for things like that. My MOS requires you to have a 110 GT score but there are Soldiers that have 80s…so again, do not worry. Good luck!

If you pass the ASVAB, you will almost assuredly have a CO score that will allow you to enlist as Infantryman. I am biased toward the Army and Infantry, which seems like the perfect fit for you too. With the information you provided, I would tell you to go Army and Airborne-Ranger. It is the most challenging entry level position a 17 year old male in today’s military can enlist into. I know some will say Marines and their is nothing wrong with the Marines, but it is amazing how they can say they are ‘First In’ when the Rangers secured the area the night before! If you want to be pushed to your limit, trained on the latest weapons and jump out of planes, 11X Option 40. Last, even though the money is not important to you right now, take EVERY penny that the Army will give you. Get promoted before you leave for training and invest anything you do not use. If a year from now you still do not want it, give it to me for my terrific advice.
