If your iguana wont go unless being floated, why dont you try putting a water container in his cage. If your cage isn’t big enough, then your iguana would need a bigger cage anyway. If he was trained to go that way his whole life then it could be too late to retrain him all over again. Just try to work with it, or, get more suggestions from a pet store.
GI insurance is a joke in comparisson and how many young soldiers who really need it can afford on military pay, let alone max it out, lol

He is probably just getting old and having trouble just like everyone else. I would provide him a small pool somehow. They make kiddie-pools in differen’t sizes, or those plastic ponds at home depot might work.

in my iggys cage i have a tub like you get from the hospital, and that is the only place he poops and it nice to have little clean up
