“Smart Balance” isnt butter. It’s mostly Olive oil (a mono-unsaturated fat) that’s been churned to look like spreadable butter.
Olive oil is one of those healthy fats, but yes to moderation.
3 x a day is ok if your not active, but 6x a day (and much smaller portions of course) is better.
FYI: It’s very difficult to over-consume fresh fruits with any adverse effects. Just be sure apples and bananas are part of the mix so your digestive tract remains happy happy.

Honestly I didn’t fully understand your question.
I honestly don’t know what Smart Balance is, but calorie wise it isn’t that bad; it’s about half the calories as regular butter. However I would check the ingredients because nowadays “low cal” products add different artificial flavors to make them low calorie. If has less calories than regular butter simply because there’s less fat and no other difference then that’s not that bad.
As for regular butter, yes butter typically is 100 calories per tablespoon. I personally would prefer butter than margarine because although butter has more saturated fat, margarine has trans fat, which is worse than saturated fat. But like you mentioned, if you eat it in moderation it isn’t that bad, especially if you’re not consuming too much saturated fat or sodium daily.
