Is it illegal to own a military handbook or survival manual?

Just wondering cause i downloaded some and i was wondering if it was illegal i don’t want to learn how to be a trained killer just want to learn cool survival skills and it shows how to start fires and snare animals thats all i really want out of them…

    you can buy these at the px, and order them online. I’m pretty sure they are not illegal.

    There are very few military Field Manuals that are restricted. You can’t get to those and you would be bored to death by them! Feel free to use those manuals you download without fear of a silenced black helicopter and men in black coming to get you!

    Any military handbook or survival manual that is listed as unclassified is legal to own.
