  1. The USMC has the best hand to hand combat/unarmed self defense courses. The Navy has some strong leadership courses.

  2. A navy seal or marine. To be more specific, a Marine scout sniper is the best for survival training, and I’m pretty sure hand to hand combat and disarming techniques. As for leadership, any person needs to choose to be a leader before they can lead. You not put in charge of a squad unless you can be trusted with other people’s lives. As for social aspects of the milatary, most will ruin you socially, even if your not in direct combat. Anyone who joins any milatary service has changed views when asked to go fight in actual combat. The milatary will teach you basic life management skills, but nothing to extreme that you didn’t already know.

  3. i got good news and bad new for yea

the good is there are a lot of places to go for that type of training. these guys make up special operations and special forces. B/c of unconventional, small scale stealth missions, skills in leader ship, skills in hand to hand, survival and small arms fire are GREATLY needed in Delta force, Navy Seals and Green Berets.

The best at these skill’s are probably equally the seals and delta. This is b/c they operate in the smallest of groups and specialize in direct action. The green berets all though expertly trained, specialize in teaching their skills to those in need of it (friendly who live near or in enemy territory) An there for, get more training in diplomacy skills.

The bad news is those are probably the hardest jobs to get into.

  6. The best hand-to-hand combat trng comes from the service you are in versus the one you aren’t. It’s a very minor skill regardless of service – you’ll get more at your neighborhood karate school. The focus is much more on important things like shooting and tactics. You really don’t need to worry about which is best for some minor aspect of training, you need to worry about finding the branch that’s best for you overall & getting in it.

Far as survival training, SERE is joint training with a shared program and instructors. The branch that most specializes in providing instructors is the Air Force, and that’s a very cool job if you’re man enough to get it.
