Which way of cooking is healthier (doesn’t use much oil, butter, or other fat, if any at all) and will preserve the most nutrients in a food: Steaming, boiling, roasting, or microwaving?
This question refers to cooking vegetables, specifically kabocha squash.
Vegetables should be steamed or microwaved (in a scant 1/4″ water for about 2 min). Meats should be roasted (on a rack) or grilled, so the fat drains off

Steaming your veggies is best, you can also stir fry in a little olive oil. Olive oil is good for you, full of antioxidants. Roasting and grilling veggies is good to, never boil.
Meat should be roasted or grilled, you can pan sear and finish in the oven that’s fine.
Stay away from processed foods (canned, boxed), and refined foods they are full of chemicals (white sugar, white flour).
