It was one of those “survivalist” movies where several families had went together and purchased a retreat in some farm area and they were to leave their suburban homes and go there in case of a nuclear war. I can not remember any of the actors or anything about the name. It would have been released in either the mid 1980′s or early 1990′s. It may have been direct-to-video or made for one of the premium channels like HBO or Showtime. I only remember certain scenes such as a woman pouring a large bag of dog food in their kitchen sink for their animals before they escaped the city due to a threatened missile attack. I also remember something about their being a policeman or sheriff that knew about their compound that was trying to take their supplies and/or fuel and they used a crop-duster airplane to poison the pond they were using for drinking water. Other than that I really can’t remember anything else. I just need the name of it and I will see if I can buy it somewhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
