i have to do a handbook about the lord of the flies but i don’tt know what to call it. this is what we have to do:
Objective: To write a survival manual that reflects knowledge of Lord of the Flies and exhibits both creative and critical thinking skills.
Project Description: After reading the text, students will create a survival manual in book form, which describes essentials of survival on the island depicted in Lord of the Flies. The manual should include the following elements:
a)A cover page with an original title, eye-catching cover art, and your name.
(Hint: Look at a book cover for layout ideas.)
b)A table of contents listing all required chapters and the page on which each chapter begins. (The following should be used as chapter titles: Map of the Island; People; Food and Shelter; Dangers; and Escape Plan.)
c)All required chapters:
•Map of the Island – This map should show all points of interest on the island important to the novel. These points of interest should be clearly labeled.
•People – All important characters should be identified and described with respect to both their physical appearance as well as their personality traits.
•Food and Shelter – Advise the reader on how to obtain food and shelter. Identify and describe all sources of food and shelter on the island.
•Dangers – All significant dangers (physical as well as psychological) should be identified and explained. In addition, you should give the readers insight into how to survive these dangers.
•Escape Plan – Provide your best advice on how to escape from the island.
