my almost 8 year old cat has very bad breath and red gums, she eats mostly dry food (as all my other cats get to the canned food first) should i be concerned? she doesn’t act like she’s in any pain or anything.

How long is the shelf life of canned food?
Is all canned food processed to last the same time in storage? How long does it stay safely preserved? How about if it isn’t kept in a cool, dry environment?
We troops ate C-Rations that were dated 1951 (Korean War) that were still quite good twenty (20) years later. Are the civilian canned goods capable of this duration or does the Army have a special technique in processing their rations?

my cat is throwing up after he eats and hairball remedy stuff isn’t working. Any ideas?
cat seems healthy and is playful and loving. He is in the house most of the time. I am worried about him. I feed all 3 of my cats dry cat food that is for hairball control and they also get canned food too. Do you know of anything that would clean him out?
