How can i get other cats to stop eating my cat’s food?

My cat lives on my front porch and the cat from across the street always comes to eat my cats food. i always shoo it away but it keep coming back. how can i get that stupid cat away from my cats food( THAT I PAY FOR) ?
Then my cat ends up being starved and crying for food at 6 in the morning!

In what ways are cats more intelligent then dogs?

My cat can open doors by turning the key with his claws. He howls to warn us that a stranger is at the door. He plays ball with me throwing the ball to me so I can throw it back to him. He sits and begs for food.
So, what’s the difference?

Should I let my cats roam free in car on 8 hour car trip?

We are going on a trip this summer. We took them on a 5 hour car trip last summer, but they were much smaller and fit in the crate a lot better. They’ve been in the car a lot so they don’t freak out or anything, in fact, all they really want to do is look out the window. I’m mostly just afraid they’re going to have to potty and can’t get to the litter box. We’re taking a Rodeo and there is plenty of room to have their crate so they can go in and sleep, their litter box, and food. I know that people say they can get under feet and cause and accident but I think I could keep them from doing that (I’m not driving). Anyway I was just wondering if anyone else had ever done this.

Why does my cat kill slow worms and bring them back to my house?

I have been worried about my cat Lavender because around every summer she brings back, either head less, bitten or slightly alive slow worms. I don’t know wether it’s her own instincts or her survival skills. She does not eat them and we feed my 3 cats twice a day. I don’t know wether any other cats do this or in a similar way but one of my cats, Tinkerbell doesn’t. My cat, Lavender and my second cat, Bubbles are related, the only thing Bubbles brings back is twigs, leaves and other types of nature but NEVER any type of animal. My family and me think she has a mind of a dog. Tinkerbell, the non-related cat is very lazy and old. The only thing she will occasionally ever eat is spiders and fly’s around the house. Is this a relative problem or do I need to see someone about my cat?

How would you prepare your cats for the end of the world?

Often, I think about my cats and their level of skill during play-hunting. If the world ended tomorrow, I wonder whether they’d be able to make it long after I’m gone.

Say, some virus broke out and decimated the human race, but it didn’t affect animals. You see it coming through all the stories on the news. What would you do to “train” your cats for survival?
