There is really no point in doing anything at all, we’re all gonna die anyway.
There’s no point to go to school
- When we die all our knowledge and skills are wasted, someone else have to relearn them.
There’s no point to work
- When we die, our work is forgotten (in almost all cases)
There’s no point to save money
- Obviously we can’t use them when we are dead (there’s no point to spend them either since we can’t take our things with us when we die)
There’s no point to love
- When we die we are separated anyway, sure one will live on and remember the love she/he shared with that person, but probably she/he will move on with someone else. Even if not, when that person dies, the love is forgotten and gone.
There is no point to have kids
- For the same reason as there’s no point to love. Even if having children ensure the survival of the human species, there’s no point since it’s all meaningless anyway, why would we want our species to live on so badly?
There’s no point to travel
- What’s to point to travel and seeing new places and different cultures if you’re just gonna die in the end anyway?
this goes for everything
- There’s no point to play sports
- There’s no point to read books
- There’s no point to watch TV or play video games,
and so on.
Sure, some people say that even if there’s no point to life or anything they do, they live for their friends and family, to have fun, to help the world get better or whatever but that’s just all crap. Life is not fun, most of the time. You’re born, you are forced to learn stuff, you’re forced to work, then you die. THE END. How many people have lived on this planet? and how many do we know about? What about Sharon Jones that died 100 years ago or John Wilson who lived in the 17th century? just the normal people. We all know about Shakespeare, Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson etc, but what about those billions of people no one knows about today, that have lived here, just like we do now? What does their lives matter now? Most of us don’t even know the first name of our grandparents grandparents, and that’s just a few generations back – in our FAMILY.
(I’m not suicidal, I just find everything meaningless right now (which is also meaningless:/)).
