Hi, i am trying to get some information on the proper procedures for a survival/photography trip.I want to come in the spring and stay for 1 full year thru out the seasons.I plan to live entirely off the land and i plan to make a documentary and take photos of my stay and day to day life.My questions are quiet simple and i want to stay within full limits of the laws.
I would like to construct a permanent shelter for my time there instead of useing a tent.Nothn big just something small for my 1 year time maybe like a trapper cabin or such.Im wanting to know the hunting laws ETC as i would like to fish thru the warm seasons and maybe take 1 or 2 big game animals to store to live on thru the winter.I am not a sport hunter and this would be entirely survival and nothn else.I would also like to know the gun laws of such a trip into the wilderness.I plan to take 1 large game rifle( .270 cal) 1 small game rifle( .22 cal).I would also like to have something for close up protection like a shotgun of sort with the barrel being as short as law allows for close encounters in dangerous situations,bears, wolves, Mt lions ETC.
I am looking for locations to carry out my trip but the information i find is all so cluttered and i cant find my answers.I would like to stay away from privately owned land and national protected parks, unless they meet my needs.Staying withn the legal laws of alaska is my first priority and i do not want to be trespassing.
I have been in survival classes for the past couple of years and i plan to take 1 more survival training course at the begining of the year.

I ALREADY BEEN THRU SURVIVAL CLASSES. man people really dnt read this stuff do they, i can ask how to open a jar of pickles and people will come up with some off the wall crap. i posted the question here to try and find locations to do my trip.i have never been to alaska on a survival trip, if i had i would know the answers to which i am askin.i can survive anywhere, i am askin about laws for LONG TERM PRIMITIVE LIVING..geeeeeezzzz what is wrong with people.they should shut this yahoo answer crap down because nobody ever answers anybody.just a bunch of people answering whatver they run up on trying to rack points i guess.
So heres the DETAILED questions since nobody bothers to read them.. what are the laws on BUILDINg a PERMANENT SHELTER(CABIN) i cant build a permanent shelter in a NATIONAL FOREST,u gotta move every 14 days and that means LIVING IN A TENT.(hence the reason i wanta build a PERMANENT SHELTER)i cant take huntin rifles and shoot animals in a national forest. you cant build fires in national forest. i know this stuff and this is why i am ASKIN FOR PEOPLE THAT KNOW LOCATIONS AND LAWS FOR LAND THAT ISNT PRIVATELY OWNED OR NATIONAL FOREST!!!!!! and thank you for questioning my 4 years of survival training,i didnt know it makes my 4 years worthless and make me not know anything when i ask a simple question about locations.
