Okay, so I was at a festival yesterday, when I came across a dog food booth. A guy asked me if I had dogs. “Yes.”
“what do you feed them?”
“This real bad quality food called Pet Promise. (My dad won’t switch)”
He told me about his dog food, Nature’s select. I wasn’t convinced.
“Are you an ingredient reader?”
“yeah.”
He gave me a list of ingredients. I expected to find the usual. Corn. By-products. no meat.
But instead, for top ingredients, I saw these~
Turkey Meal
Chicken meal
Whole ground White rice
Whole ground brown rice
Lamb meal
Whole ground flax seed.
NO corn. NO by products. NOT chemically preserved. NO animal fat. NO wheat products either! Science diet has all of these, and Eukanuba and Iams have most of them.
The only thing I didn’t like was the chicken fat. There was some oatmeal and barley in the other kinds, but not the kind I was looking at, high puppy protein.
So, this sounds good to me. Rice and meat as the top ingredients.
So, whatcha think?
NOTE~ I asked this question before and it never got posted.
Did I mention they deliver it to youir home for NO extra cost????
