Should I feed my grown cats only dry food?

I found all natural dry food online with the ingredients that the woman from Canada advised in my previous question on feeding my male cat decent food. The Canadian food isn’t available in the U.S. yet, but I’m happy with this dry food. Is it ever necessary to feed them canned or is that just for their enjoyment?

Im asking beacause we have 6 dogs to feed & they eat quite a lot so looking for the price too.. 3 that were rescues and 2 that were technically recues at our shelter here but were owner surrendered…
They range from 15lbs- ~50 lbs in weight.. we just started them in that.. As they are going to be making us go broke from all the food we have to buy.
Where I live its about $23 for a 40 lb bag, quite a bit cheaper then what we were paying for before switching.

Dry cat food Blue Wilderness?

Hello Everyone! As some may know, my cats, Binnie and Marble eat a half canned/half raw diet. I normally feed raw in the morning, canned in the afternoon and one of those 2 at night and leave a small handful of dry for overnight, approx. 20-30 pieces. I like to keep dry available for the times when I’m gone overnight or am out of town for business. I have ABSOLUTELY no one to come feed my cats for these times, so I leave dry for them. Plus, I’m not gone that long, no more than 2 days, so no one really needs to come feed them anyway. So to my question, I’m looking for the highest quality of the lowest quality choice, dry food. I ran across Blue Wilderness and it’s seems pretty good, but I noticed all of those MEALS behind the meat words and wondered if that’s really okay. The Blue Company worker of course, said there’s nothing wrong with the word meal. I really don’t see the need for oatmeal, potatoes, cranberries and blueberries but all of the high quality dry comes with some type of veggies/fruits so there’s really no way to get around it. But it’s not that many so I won’t complain too much.

Thanks everyone for the answers. Unfortunately, Percy, I don’t have anyone to watch or check on them. I moved out of town for my job so my family is in another state. And I don’t know my neighbors nor do I trust anyone with having a key to my home and going in to check on my animals. My cats will be alright. It’s not often that I’m gone for 2 whole days but it does happen. Thanks for the suggestion!
