Can we sue a restaurant for food poisoning?
What can i do the day after to get my health back up. I feel so drained and exhausted. I thought i was going to die….
Let me catch you up on the story. December 2nd, Me, my mother, my brother, my then boyfriend, and sister in law all ate meatballs we baught from a deli. I hadn’t eaten anything else all day, so I guess I’m the controlled subject.
9am December 3rd, I was… well to put it nicely, shooting out of both ends. This went on from 9am – 10pm that night. I couldn’t keep down ANYTHING until 8pm that night (otter pops, I strongly recomend) and water. Because I hadn’t been able to keep any fluids in me, I became dehydrated, and had a small fever until the next day. I called my family, they all had the same symptoms.
I went to the deli two days later after contacting the owner. We had kept the remaining meatballs in the freezer to preserve them. We gave him all our information, including the meatballs that he assured us would be sent to a “lab” to be inspected, and we would be contacted soon.
It’s January 22nd. I haven’t heard anything, he won’t return my calls.
Can I sue?
Also I did talk to a doctor.
