Hypothesize why you would not suffer from food poisoning if you ate fresh fruit contaminated with the endospores of Clostridium botulinum. Hypothesize why you might suffer food poisoning if you ate home-preserved fruit that spoiled.
I’m using Jell-o as a diet food and have been buying it and eating it as entire meals. I know it’s not healthy, so I wondered if there were any recipes using fresh fruit or juice or possibly even jam or jelly from the store, like a jar of strawberry preserves. I do not want to use that Knox gelatin stuff though – I’ve heard of methods where you boil fruit juice but don’t know where to go from there. Any help?
I also remember something about corn starch and fruit juice. Any ideas there?
