I’m looking for remote sites that allow hiking, fishing, free camp fire wood, and do not restrict where tents can be pitched.
I have experience with camping (I work at a camp during the summer along with actual camping) but I need a new place to go.
Preferably a site in the Midwest (Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia would be best)
Any input would be appreciated.

I am planning a trip along the Gabrielino Trail (28.5 miles) and am looking to complete this hiking/camping expedition in 4 days. I am trying to do this to practice some survival skills so I will be taking minimal gear, but you are welcome to bring whatever you wish. I just need someone to keep me company and none of my friends are interested. If someone out there is interested let me know.

I am planning this massive backpacking trip across america, most of which will be spent in a wilderness survival sort of thing. (To really test my bush craft skills.) I have a tent, but I only planned on using it in impending rain. So I thought a portable hammock would be a nice way to camp. The problem is that I hate going through google trying to find one… So if you could give me a link to a good one, preferably military style, that doesn’t have to steep a price, that would be great. Five stars to the one I decide to buy.
