Ice Melting?

okay so we’re doing a project in science class and part of it has to do with preserving an ice and to see how long we can hold it without melting
we get to use the bottom of a carton of milk and the rest of the things we need to find on our own
do u have any ideas on how to keep an ice from melting?

How are the polar regions of Mercury and the Moon similar?

A) Both have bright dry ice polar caps, like Mars
B) Both are covered by huge mare-type basins from impacts
C) Both have been hit by large comets that melted there
D) Both seem to have ice pockets in the deepest, darkest crater floors
E) Both have lake of liquid water under their regolith

Where do you think the ice on the lunar surface came from?

An article I was reading (http://www.nasa.gov/topics/moonmars/features/moon20090924.html) stated that the water ice found on the Moon “raises new questions about its [the Moon's] origin.”

Does it really raise any questions about the origin of the Moon? It could still have been ripped out of the Earth, for it doesn’t seem too unlikely that some of Earth’s water ended up on the Moon if that’s where the Moon came from.

Also, the water could have come from comet impacts.

What do you think?
Sorry, here is the link: http://www.nasa.gov/topics/moonmars/features/moon20090924.html

After the Asteroid Impacted the Earth why did temperatures go down and cause the Ice Age instead of it getting

Have you ever watched a movie where you couldn’t get enough of it?

You know, where you wanted to watch it over and over again and you never got tired of it? And whenever you can’t watch it, you constantly watch clips of the movie on youtube, read the plot summary on wikipedia, read bios of all the characters, draw the characters, tell other people about the movie, repeating the funniest phrases, and becoming fans of it on facebook? I’m like that with Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. I just saw it 2 days ago, and watched it again yesterday. Mostly it’s because of the new character, Buck. He’s like a survivalist who lives off the land around him and can never be killed! Of course being alone too long made him insane, but that makes him even better! Plus he’s a weasel, so he’s fast and crazy, and he has a southern cockney accent! So now I’ve drawn a few pictures of him and I constantly repeat his phrases like “It’s time to get… Buckwild.” Anyway, have you ever been obsessed with a movie like that? If so, what movie was it? Did you get over the obsession? Why were you obsessed with it? Do you think I’m insane?
