How does “one”, in our present society and governement build a log cabin and live off the land?

You know…. a dependent survivalist who is strong willed. A person who doesn’t make an income and grows, finds and hunts his or their own food. A person who uses limited technology… and i also believe in Going Green.

Is there anything online about this? My brother is a Navy Seal and is planning something and wants me to join him.

I agree that something is coming whether its Ww3, nuclear fallout, martial law,….whatever….i would prefer to get away from everything and live with him.

I think the main problem is finding a secluded location in the wild that is not owned by anyone.

I have no money, no job, Live in the middle of nowhere and I get screamed at by my schizophrenic mom

I had a drug problem probably because I live in hell. I am recovering now and since moved to louisiana. I am 27 have no job, no income, no savings, no car, but no criminal record. I am trying to recover but my mom is a schizophrenic nutcase that screams at me from when I wake up till I go to sleep. I am considering living off the land or becoming a survivalist just to escape this madness. My mom is up and down but I hear her curse and scream putting me down all day long instead of trying to help me. I really am losing my mind

I left out that I am Marine combat veteran diagnosed with Post tramatic stress disorder. I don’t know anyone here and jobs are scare. I dont know how to make somthing out of nothing in farm country. It’s so bad I don’t know what to do and any money I get I spend on alcohol because I wake up to a nightmare everyday.
