Kitty Needs 2 Questions?

I am quite confused, like i read all the kitten care sites and books but it leaves some leaking info i need(2 questions.)First of all where should my kitten basically roam essentially just live. You see i have a two story house with two young puppies( i read directions on how to slowly socialize them together) stay downstairs will actually have to(they are monsters at biting and ripping various things but not living things) and the stairs are blocked by a huge card board box. So should i let my kitty live in the entire upstairs or just in a single room(my room is huge and has quite big of a closet that im willing for him to roam too) when i go to school. And the other question is im planning to feed my kitten canned wet food so do i give the kitty the kitty the whole can of food or if i only give half of the can how do i preserve the rest of the food in the can. . Oh and my family is willing to feed the kitty when im at school.I did not get a kitten yet but planning to.

Lost my 5 month old kitten, how to find her?

My 5 month old kitten got out of the house sometime Tuesday evening. I took off Weds to look for her. I searched an area about 1 square mile. Placed flyers in mailboxes and on cars. Placed a flier in the local supermarket that has her picture, also in the local gas station. I live in Ohio and right now the temperature has a high of 80 degrees and we had a brief period of rain last night. The topography is a creek valley so there are some hills and some light woods.

I searched the neighborhoold top to bottom and did my best in the woods, but there is a thick brush. I placed some of her items out on the patio for her to recognize. I’m worried that since she is only 5 months she doesn’t have a strong sense of direction or survival skills. She is still clawed however. I’ve checked with the SPCA and she isn’t there, I also put an ad on craigslist. I’m doing everything, but no luck.

Do you think she can survive? Do you think she has the right skills to find her way home? What could I do to do a better job at finding her.

She always tries to get out, and when she does she stays close by.

Is FELIDAE good cat food? :S?

I want to feed my two kittens FELIDAE. The cat and kitten formula. But I was reading the ingredients and it seems to have alot of grains. My cats were eating the Wellness Core before I had my money troubles but now all I can afford is the FELIDAE cat and kitten food. Not the grain free FELIDAE .

Here are the ingredients:

Chicken meal, brown rice, cracked pearled barley, peas, millet, chicken fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols), turkey meal, potato protein, lamb meal, egg product, natural flavor, flaxseed, ocean fish meal, potassium chloride, choline chloride, methionine, taurine, sun cured alfalfa meal, inulin (from chicory root), lecithin, sage extract, cranberries, beta carotene, rosemary extract, sunflower oil, yucca schidigera extract, dried enterococcus faecium, dried lactobacillus acidophilus fermentation product, dried aspergillus oryzae fermentation extract, dried bacillus subtilis fermentation extract, saccharomyces cerevisiae fermentation solubles, vitamin E supplement, niacin, manganese proteinate, copper proteinate, zinc sulfate, manganese sulfate, copper sulfate, thiamine mononitrate, vitamin A supplement, biotin, potassium iodide, calcium pantothenate, riboflavin, pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6), vitamin B12 supplement, manganous oxide, sodium selenite, vitamin D supplement, folic acid, cobalt proteinate, organic selenium, papaya, pineapple.

Is this still good food? Do you recommend it?
