Is the earths polarity going to change in 2012?

I was talking to a friend today he was telling me in 2012 the earths polarity will change. Like North with become South, South become North and the earth will start to rotate in the oppsite direction. I was reading a little bit on Nasa website and it was saying that the sun’s polarity was dur to change in 2012. I was just wondering do u think this will happen to earth?
I might not have I do read these things bit quickly sometimes. I think it was more like Nasa was predicting this.

What is the most effective diet for teens?

I’m 16 and over weight, and not just a little bit, I am goin to college in England at the end of the summer. So from now till August is the amount of time I have to lose weight and start over when I get to college. And I need a diet that is out there that can help me. I have already joined a gym I just don’t no what to do about the food diets nowadays and what is effective.

Can anyone give me a few pointers on weight gainers and muscle-building products (creatine, glutamine etc.)?

Background: I’m 39 years old and have always been about 130 pounds, with a lean runner’s build (although I don’t run). I’ve worked out at a gym for about six years, always with the goal of just staying fit and toned. Lately, I’ve thought: Hey, why not try to add a little bit of muscle? So now my goal is to add eight to 10 pounds of muscle mass, which I don’t think is TOO ambitious. I’ve already started increasing my caloric intake from food, and I’m stepping up the intensity of my lifting. But I’ve also considered adding the component of muscle gainers (NOT steroids). I’m a novice on that front, though, and have a few questions. Can anyone help? (Oh, also: I’m already taking whey protein shakes after workouts)

1. Based on the background details, are there any products you’d particularly recommend? I work out at 24-Hour Fitness in Dallas, where they have all sorts of stuff, like CytoGainer, BSN TrueMass, APEX Volumizer, Glutamine powder, Muscle Milk etc.

2. If I used any of these products and achieve my goal and am happy with the results, can I phase out the products (because wow, they are expensive!), or do I have to keep taking them to preserve the muscle gains? Once I acquire the new muscle, are there alternatives to the products that would allow me to keep the muscle?

3. Is it true that some of these products cause bloating? While I’m no model or super athlete, I do have nice abs that I’m proud of, and I wouldn’t want to run into a permanent “bloating look” that would ruin that appearance. Is the bloating temporary?

4. I am only able to work out 3 to 4 times a week. Are you required to use most of the products every single day, or could I see results by taking them on workout days only?

5. If I can only afford one or two products, what would you recommend? The CytoGainer appears to be fairly all-purpose. Thoughts?

Sorry for the long string of questions. Thanks for any input!

I was at PetCo. picking up some of my dog’s food and I noticed that “the dog whisperer” has made a brand…?

I noticed that “The Dog Whisperer” has made a brand dog food– It made me laugh a little bit, but upon reading the ingredients etc, it didn’t seem so bad at all!

“Organic Chicken, Chicken Meal, Organic Barley, Organic Peas, Organic Brown Rice, Organic Ground Extruded Whole Soybeans, Chicken Fat preserved with mixed Tocopherols (a natural source of Vitamin E), Salmon Meal, Natural Chicken Liver Flavor, Brewers Dried Yeast, Organic Flaxseed Meal, Dried Eggs, Organic Apples, Organic Carrots”

I compared it to some other well-known brands and it even seemed better!

Here is the first 10 or so ingredients of Wellness:

Deboned Chicken, Chicken Meal, Oatmeal, Ground Barley, Salmon Meal (a natural source of DHA – Docosahexaenoic Acid), Canola Oil (preserved with mixed tocopherols, a natural source of Vitamin E), Ground Brown Rice, Tomato Pomace, Rice Bran, Tomatoes, Natural Chicken Flavor, Rye Flour, Carrots, Spinach, Sweet Potatoes, Apples, Blueberries, Ground Millet, Ground Flaxseed

(I know it’s not as good as Wellness, Ha Ha.)

But still– in my opinion it even looked better then Bill-Jac and some other ones!

What do you think?
The price was around 14 or so dollars for maybe an 8 pound bag? I thought it wasn’t priced all that bad…
“Whole ground extruded soybeans are used in some foods as a supplemental protein ingredient. Although the product has been processed to eliminate the ‘bloat’ often associated with soybeans, this ingredient can still pose a problem for animals allergic to soy.”

The soybeans don’t sound so bad, besides the obvious of your dog being allergic to them…
I cannot stand Rachael Ray– that phony huge smile and fake family stories :(
