Peruvian recipes for a gringa? Are there any that *I* can actually prepare?
I am a native Minnesotan and my man is native Peruvian. I would like to make some familiar food for him but when I search for recipes online (like Arroz con Pollo, Papas a la Huancaina, Tamales, Seco de Cabrito, etc.) some of the ingredients are difficult or impossible to get here. Does anyone have any good recipes that I’ll actually find the ingredients for (or good replacements)?

come out to ask him what does he wants.He said that,I am
so happy to tell you I’m a poor man or a beggar.He asked the man does he have some money to gave him,and God will bless you.The man said:no! he asked for some food? the man said no! Do you know what the beggar said to the man? He said that:”if you don’t have those thing like I do,why don’t you come with me,and help me beg, so..if I found something,we can share it together.Now my questions are:Does he have a right to say something like that to the man he met at the door? If so…why?

Something creepy happened today. What do you advise?
Today, I was approached by a man that I didn’t know. He asked if we could talk, and I agreed. We went to a local diner, and he started explaining to me that he’d been “watching” me over the past few months, although he didn’t elaborate, despite the fact that I requested several times that he do so.
He said that I was a suitable candidate to join his survivalist faction, and requested that my family and I join him next week, and visit his compound, which he said is located in Northern Canada. He offered to pay for transportation and all other expenses.
He left me a phone number to contact him at, and said that I should let him know as soon as possible if I’m interested. I am most certainly interested, but this whole thing seems extremely odd.
My question to you: What would you do? And what do you think I should do?
