Life without this vision of God?
Does anyone agree with me that without this image of God our life would be a much more peaceful place. Think about it for a second there would have been no crusades, these religious wars in the middle east would not exist, our society would be based on helping other people instead of serving God. I think the Mayans have the right thought process about their vision of the end of the world on december 21st 2012. They vision either totoal destruction, or a completly new society where people work as one and there is no longer a view of God.
I dont know i think people would start making their judgments based on what they think is right instead of what God thinks is right. Yes their are some downfalls if this was to happen tommorow, but i am talking about in the beginning of time where the first image of ONE god appeared.

2012 – Change or Cataclysm?
Just thought I’d throw an interesting subject out there. I’ve always been interested in the complexity of theories that have been floating around. I’ve probably heard them all, but I’d like to hear what you people think. If it’s a change, what kind of a change do you expect? Do you think that all of the information about 2012 is just a coincidence? Do you believe that the mayans could predict some sort of cataclysm? What about Edgar Cayce’s predictions about Atlantis and their demise? How would that coincide? With the exception of Christianity (and perhaps including them!) is the impending doom as close as some think? The questions progress, continuously, and unending. I know its ironic to be looking for more questions in Yahoo! Answers, but maybe I’m just an ironic guy. Besides, from what I understand, Yahoo! Answers is just a very elaborate message board with a neat point system for posting. Right?
I’m not sure that you guys understand what I’m really getting at. I should have worded it differently, Do you think we’ll survive 2012 and do you think that there will be a large cataclysmic change, or just a small change when the sun passes the galactic equator. See, while the Mayan calender may appear to end at 2012 with a significant ‘number,’ its actually a specific date which starts the cycle of their calander over and also starts our solar system’s cycle over. Maybe you guys should do a little research before answering a question.

Are there any living humans who are ancestors of the ancient civilizations?
We find ruins and artifacts and possibly human remains of civilizations that are said to be very advanced: but i cant understand how we dont have ‘aztecs’, or mayans or antalantians amongst us!
Did they have an end to their worlds(which wiped away the races) as we are going to have one ourselves? Gosh!
Sorry, I wanted to know if there are descendants rather ancestors(?) to mayans, aztecs, etc.
Dont u find it strange that these descendanst are not as advanced and civilized as their ancestors?
