3 surgeons n a clumsy cook went camping in a woods where there is no one else. while bringing the dinner over, the clumsy cook tripped on the campfire n spilt the food over the 3 surgeons’ hands, at the same time sustaining serious injuries himself that require the surgeons to operate on him. the surgeons all had open wounds on their hands. they discovered they have the equipment to operate on the cook, n the campfire can sterilise the equipment, but they have only 2 rubber gloves(all 3 surgeons have to operate on him one by one). how can they use the 2 gloves so that none of them gets infected with another’s blood?
srprise_me is on the right track!! good job, i believe you figured this yourself n not went to the net to search for the answer. =] however, u said the 3rd surgeon throws away the inner glove n wears the outer one? but the ‘inside’ of this outer glove has been infected with the 1st surgeon blood already, in ur 2nd step, whereby the 2nd surgeon operates.
