Is the computer and internet actually making us dumber than previous generations?
Computers are great for getting fast and easy information. But in reality, if someone was stranded in some place for a vacation some how like the rain forest. They would FOR SURE die with no smarts for survival. Its almost as if computers are making our natural intelligence lower, and people dont have near as much vocabulary skills as before. Most people use the sames words everyday including me 
Is there an adult boy scouts which isn’t the army?
Yeah, I used to be in the boyscouts and am kind of interested in doing something like that. Like a place that would teach you wilderness survival skills, and that kind of thing, but for adults? Not the army btw.
Not any governmental military thing.
i was lazy, i felt people who were into military might have an answer, and I guess i just wasn’t really thinking so much about it, but yeah it should be in a different section your right. Good idea with the camp counciler, i was thinking more along the lines of learning new skills possibly in a group environment that had to do with like wilderness survival, camping etc. not so much teaching

Mountain man life (like guy in movie “shooter” or guy in “without a paddle”)?
Do you think its possible to find a place away from people in the woods somewhere to live a simple life. I am a 22 year old guy and really am getting sick of lifes bullshit and how life is going down hill for me and just want to get away from it all. I know I could survive all alone. I have been hunting since I was 7, so have very good hunting skills. I also have lived in a temperature that gets to -50 so cold is not a problem either. I am pretty sure everything else needed to survive on my own I could do too. I have very good survival instincts. But do you think I could find somewhere to live all alone??? Perferably a mountain climate woods type of climate, nothing tropical I cant stand lots of bugs and spider haha. so something like a mountain man haha.

What policies or procedures are in place in the event of an “end-world” scenario?
I have been researching government policies on major disasters. While governments seem to be prepared (on paper) in the event of minor local disasters, I can find no mentions of what the government will do, or what it’s citizens should do in the event of a continental-scale disaster.
A few examples:
The Yellowstone caldera opens
Large-scale nuclear attack
Large meteor/asteroid impact
Zombocalypse
If you have any tips for finding this information on official governemnt websites, or any other place, please let me know!
