Im asking beacause we have 6 dogs to feed & they eat quite a lot so looking for the price too.. 3 that were rescues and 2 that were technically recues at our shelter here but were owner surrendered…
They range from 15lbs- ~50 lbs in weight.. we just started them in that.. As they are going to be making us go broke from all the food we have to buy.
Where I live its about $23 for a 40 lb bag, quite a bit cheaper then what we were paying for before switching.

Does the Diamond Pet Brand use ethoxyquin to preserve their fish?

Their the manafactuers of chicken soup dog food and Premium Edge.Both seem to be good brands and at a great price(especially premium edge) but Im not sure if it was ethoxyquin free.I checked on dog food analysis and their saying previously they did use ethoxyquin and now the company is saying their not.Tried emailing Diamond and they said this.

The preservation systems used by our vendors are considered proprietary
information.

However, we know that the heat from our pet food process destroys
antioxidants that are used in the ingredients that we purchase. After
the heat process (extrusion and drying), we apply natural tocopherols
(Vitamins A & E) in order to carry the shelf life of the food.

Not very convincing to me since they didnt state if when they buy their fish it contains it.Heres the website
