The planet Mercury can actually cure caner. Scientists and aliens agree that if you were to stare at mercury from 4 and a half miles away (or closer), you would be completely healed. The only problem is, nobody can get that close without realizing that they cannot breathe anymore, or without being completely obliterated by the sun. So hopefully research will extend so that the sun stops randomly killing people in space.

In other news, the aliens want their earth back. They also plan to attack on december (day unknown) 2012. Be prepared, as this will be the war of the worlds. Good day to you all.

When will oil production reach the hubbert peak and how do we prepare for $100 barrel oil?

The experts seem in disagreement about when the world will reach the halfway point in oil production and global consumption increases in India and China are only adding to the problem. Given the dependence on petrochemicals in nearly all parts of modern infrastructure from food production, transportation, energy, manufacturing how are will the US cope with oil prices greater than $100 per barrel and how can we prepare?

Can you solve this simple problem?

Person A believes his world is controlled by god X and his nemesis, evil demigod Y. Person B believes his world is controlled by random chance and his own survival skills. Person C believes his world is controlled by a multitude of beings and forces, many of which he thinks he understands and others he admits he doesn’t understand. They’re all calling each other ignorant and deluded.

How can persons A, B + C bridge their perception differences enough to get along with each other? If this outcome is impossible, how can they each maximize their time and resources to achieve their own goals?

a. Person A needs to keep telling B + C they’re wrong, until they finally accept that he’s right and they were both wrong.

b. Person B needs to keep telling A + B they’re wrong until they accept that he’s right and they were both wrong.

c. Person C needs to keep telling A + B they’re wrong until they accept that he’s right and they were both wrong.

d. They all need to stop wasting their time trying to tell each other, “I’m right and you’re wrong.”

e. Other solution. Please explain.

i have a freefall problem?

i need to prove that you feel weightlessness on apocalypse in drayton manor theme park and so there would be freefall but im not sure how to do this. i have figures for the itme of the freefall, the total height of the ride, the braking distance and the freefall height if that helps. thanks
time to freefall is 2.5 seconds, total height is 54 metres, braking distance is 25 metres and freefall height is 25m
