How to Make a Simple Knife?! (Survival)?

I’ve been wondering lately, I know how to do all basic survival skills- but I don’t usually carry a knife, b/c of “No Weapons” laws in Stores and Buildings. So say im lost in the wild, you’d obviously need a knife. So my question would be: How do you make a Knife or Cutting Object out of Stuff you could find in Nature/the Woods?!

Hunger Games Outline Question?

I have a project for language arts to do an outline. My topic is Peeta vs. Gale (From the book by Suzanne Collins, The Hunger Games) If you dont know what an outline is, its the kind of outline with Roman numerals and like, 3 main points and stuff. I only have 2 points though. Can you help me with the 3d one? And 3 things about it?

My 2 points: Who has better survival skills…and Who do readers prefer most?

and ideas on my 3d one?

Nutrient loss during cooking baby food, now that I’ve done some research?

I’m sorry if I’m driving everyone nuts with all of the questions, but now that I look around a bit I’m not sure what to think. Most of the answers I got to my last question said to never use the microwave to cook baby food, can anyone give me solid info on why? Here are some of the things I have found:

…any cooking that minimizes the time, temperature, and amount of water needed will help to preserve nutrients. Microwave cooking is one of the best ways to preserve nutrients because it needs minimal water, and the cooking time is very short.

True or False? Microwave cooking sucks the nutrients out of food.

False. Microwave-cooked food may retain vitamins and minerals better than stove-top-cooked food because the microwave zaps food quickly and without much water. The longer you cook food in liquid, the more nutrients may seep out, which is fine for soups and stews, but it’s a problem if you discard the liquid before eating. One study found that spinach retained all of its folate when cooked in a microwave, compared with 77 percent when cooked on a stove.

Going off the neighborhood moms question, if your husband was having the neighborhood women make dinner?

for him while you were away is that crossing the line? Pretend this guy is completely and totally inept at cooking. Im wondering cause this appears to be a sore spot with my wife, and quite honestly a survival skill I picked up in college.

What do Christians believe in terms of E.L.E’s (Extinction Level Events)?

Sorry the question is not exactly clear, however I will explain now.

Ok, so for example, scientists have calculated (this is fictional) an asteroid is going to hit the earth large enough to completely destroy it in 5 years time. Would Christians view this as God destroying the Earth in some form of judgement day, or the Devil destroying the Earth? Also if it was possible in the realms of science to disintegrate the asteroid i.e. in the Armageddon movie, would Christians (If in control of the situation) allow for this seeing as they may view the asteroid as divine intervention from God?

Basically what im getting at is, would they let the human race perish if they thought God was going to wipe us out with an asteroid or disease even if it was in their capabilities to prevent it from happening?

I mean would Christians not think that God has sent the asteroid as part of the rapture? Or would they just completely dismiss the scientific evidence as false – much like the scientific community (and large parts of the Christian community to be fair) do with the ridiculous rapture claims?

In any circumstances would you view an asteroid impact as the rapture? And if in your opinion was that it was the rapture then would you disagree that we should try to destroy it, if your opinion was that it was not the rapture, why would an omnipotent God send it towards Earth and not prevent it in any way?

Also there are previous records of ELE’s in the past, most noticeably the permian-triassic extinction event where 57% of all species were wiped out. Please do not argue that these did not happen etc because they most definitely did and there is great amounts of evidence of this…

I would also appreciate this without referencing from the bible if possible, because when people do that it usually strikes me as either making no sense whatsoever or just being plain irrelevant.

I posted this question earlier but only got one reasonable response so I thought id try again.
