The Rapture (or similar views of the future) I am serious in my question (no sarcasm pls)?

Many people think that the world is going to end or radically change in the near future. If you are one, how does it affect your political views or how you act on them? If your views have to do with the near future, why would you feel inclined to be activists or to attempt to affect local or international politics? It seems to me like it wouldn’t matter, if there will be no future (or at least one that our existing institutions will be part of). While it is part of many religions to “save” people, how would planning for the Rapture coincide with planning national or local policy? Please, I have wondered, and hope I get some real answers from people who are experiencing this.

Anybody read the new book by Hank Hanegraaff on the Apocalypse?

Well it’s the old crazy dude again that doesn’t believe in the Pre-trib rapture, dispensational teachings. Somebody actually called me an idiot. That’s awesome. LOL. Anyways has anybody read the new book by Hank Nanegraaff entiled “The Apocalypse Code”? It is an awesome book. I highly recomend it. If you believe in the pre-trib rapture please give this book a try. It may not change your Dispensational views but it will make you think.

If the apocalypse came and the rapture didn’t happen what would that mean for Christians in the U.S.?

The rest of the world indeed matters, but it’s a much different environment here in the U.S.

Does this verse disprove a pre-trib rapture?

In this story Jesus says to first gather the tares, and then the wheat:

Matt. 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
17:33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and
whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

Could these verses refer to judgment rather than a rapture? They seemed to be food for the vultures.

Luke
17:34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
17:35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
17:36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
17:37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the vultures be gathered together.

Is Anyone That Disagrees With The Current Policies Of The Dubya Administration Automatically An Illegal Alien?

Perhaps the number of illegal aliens in the country is much higher than the 12 million under this standard, although there is certainly plenty of time to get all of the rest of the illegal aliens and the UnAmericans rounded up and deposited in Gitmo and Abu Ghraib and other similar sites for appropriate “detention and assessment” while waiting for either the Apocalypse or the Rapture in this more appropriate scenario.
