looking for a travel partner?

a friend and i are going to be backpacking across the united states, and we’re looking for an experienced woodsman or survivalist, to help us out and teach us more on how to survive on the road

How many of you are ready for anarchy and looting when this country finally tanks financially?

I see grown men standing on the side of the road , weeping, with a flat tire and the flashers on their car. People have become so helpless that if it doesn’t come prepared, they have no clue. People have stopped cooking, preparing food from scratch, stocking up on basic necessities, and learning the basic survival skills. What they know, they see on TV and that isn’t survival with a team of Television folks with cameras, sound systems, mobile trailers for the stage crew and Stars. I’m talking if you eat, sleep, or breathe, you need to have kills to survive. I’m sure 89% of our population would starve to death.

The Road to World War II - Program Eleven - The Italian-Ethiopian War

The short-lived but brutal Italian-Ethiopian War leads to an examination of Italian Fascism and Mussolini. Mussolini ruled with apparent effectiveness and was hailed by leaders of the anti-Communist world until his dreams of empire led him to invade Ethiopia. The incident was one of the chief episodes that paved the way for World War II. This classic documentary series, The Road to WWII, follows the events that inevitably sparked World War II, capturing the drama, the excitement and the juxtapositions of these crucial years between the end of World War I and Pearl Harbor. Former CBS News correspondent and commentator, Eric Sevareid, one of the world’s most respected figures in journalism, presents this extraordinary series which features stunning original newsreels, soundtracks, and rare archival footage. It was the era of Lucky Lindy, bootleg, Babe Ruth, Valentino and assembly-line Fords. It was also the time of market collapse, Klan meetings, demagogues abroad, red scares at home and bread lines. The best of times, the worst of times, and the times in which the United States reluctantly moved center stage. The Road to WWII is an innovative 16-part series that examines this crucial time as it progressed from the Armistice in 1918 to the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. You will see the people who made history, hear their voices, and revisit the sites of events where consequence occurred. From the election of Roosevelt, to the rise of Hitler in Germany, it’s all here.

The Road to World War II – Program Fifteen – Japan Invades China

In 1937, Japan was bent on establishing an empire. Encouraged by lack of Western resistance, Japan took control of French Indochina, the Dutch Indies, Burma, Malaya, and the Philippines. By mid-1941, Roosevelt had enforced a total embargo, freezing all assets originating in Japan. In the face of this economic pressure, the Japanese government decided to force the United States into war.
