What do wear, bring and do on the first day of High School?

I’m entering High School this year and I’m super scared. I have no idea what to bring on the first day or where to go. They don;t send us our schedules until the week before school and I have no idea what to wear either. I’m going shopping at Hollister Aeropostale and American Eagle so please send me some cute links from those sites I really need some survival skills for High School.
Thanks sooooooooooo much!!!

Does the foodsaver vaccum sealer really preserve food well?

I am concidering buying one so I can do less food shopping. I would like to buy a freezer that I can put in the garage and I thought the foodsaver might help extend the life of the food. How well does it work and is it economical?

The electricity has gone across the world, the value of money has significantly decreased, what now?

Are you able to survive? Do you have the survival skills it takes to live without bargain stores, shopping malls, washers and dryers?

Can you make your own clothing?
Crochet your own blanket?
Can you start a fire without a lighter? (you can’t buy them anymore.)
Can you cook over a fire instead of a microwave?
Do you even know how to plant a tomato?

Can you sustain yourself without depending on the “big man”?
Or will you die with the other 70% of the population within the next three months?

My husband and I are going to Palm Beach for the first time…?

My husband and I are going to Palm Beach for the first time this December for a 2 week vacation. (The December part is very tentative!) Since we have never been there before, we are wondering, in your opinion, what are the best things to see and do, restaurants, museums, etc. We are not into clubs and bars, but more into history, sight seeing, good food, scenery, etc. Any advice would be great… please tell me all you know about Palm Beach and the best spots for a good time… again, we would like to stay away from the bars and clubs, but anything else goes…. theaters, restaurants, hotels, museums, historic sites, zoos, golf courses, tennis courts, parks and preserves, watersports activities, are there boat rides to different islands, shopping, etc. We have also heard of Clematis Street? What is that? We keep hearing about all the fun stuff there every weekend… please tell me all you know..THANK YOU!!!! And here’s to a good trip!! :o )

Keeping a loaf of bread fresher for longer?

My mom always buys 2 to 3 loaves of bread when she goes food shopping. The problem with that is that usually by the time we are going onto the second loaf, the bread feels old, hard, and tastes like crap. Is there anyway to help preserve the freshness of bread at home?
I’ve toasted the old bread before but it still tastes horrid.. so that’s why i don’t do that..
