is it NOT ok for me to feed my dogs wellness?

I recently bought this wellness dog food “Old Mother Hubbard Wellness Super5Mix Lamb”

these are the ingredients:
Lamb, Menhaden Fish Meal, Oatmeal, Ground Barley, Ground Brown Rice, Rye Flour, Tomato Pomace, Canola Oil (preserved with mixed tocopherols, a natural source of vitamin E), Salmon Meal, Rice Bran (from brown rice), Tomatoes (natural source of Lycopene), Ground Millet, Natural Lamb Flavor, Flaxseed, Carrots, Spinach, Sweet Potatoes, Apples, Blueberries, Dicalcium Phosphate, Calcium Carbonate, Potassium Chloride.

My question is this, last night I posted a question and someone told me that WELLNESS isn’t supposed to be the only food fed to a dog – because it is pure meat and no vegetables??

Is that true? I don’t really see wild dogs eating too many salads these days! Heh! I’m not sure – but I wouldn’t have switched to a 60 dollar brand of dog food if I knew that it had to be supplimented with something else? …thanks for any insight!!
I didn’t realize that feeding my dog quality food was me falling for a sales pitch?? Weird!!

i havent eaten much today and i have SHARP pains in my stomach : help please?

This is what i have eaten: (usually i eat SUPER healthy. today was just hectic and im beating myself up for it…)

MORNING: 2 slices light whole wheat toast with 2 tbsp fat free cream cheese and 1 tbsp sugar free preserves, orange juice, 1 pear
*then i worked out, got home, showered and got ready cuz i was going out with friends*
AFTERNOON: woofed down an ugli fruit (sort of an orange) and 1 light and fit yogurt with 2 tsp flaxseed and 1 light babybell cheese
*with myfriends all day. didn’t eat anything but i drank water*

got home with SHARP pains. i quickly made a PB&J and i felt better.
i have never felt like this before. i told myself i really need to stop worrying about how “bad” certain food is cause wheenever im out with friends its bound to happen.

will i gain weight for not eating much?… = uhg i HATEE this.
you people are real nice. i dont friggin eat like this all the time. i LOVE food, to be honest with you. so thanks for judging me so quickly.
chloe. thank you for being so nice. these other mother******* have no clue what my life is like. im well enough educated on wellbeing and health since i myself lost weight without a pill or any of that shit. now im at a healthy weight and keep up my habits (healthy eating, exercising). i was just curious if this was severe since it has NEVER HAPPENED. get it? I HAVE NEVER FCKING FELT LIKE THIS. which should send the message that i eat well everyday.

Chicken, chicken meal, whole grain brown rice, cracked pearl barley, chicken fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols and vitamin E), egg product, beet pulp, potatoes, fish meal, flaxseed, natural flavor, brewers dried yeast, millet, potassium chloride, salt, choline chloride, carrots, peas, kelp, apples, dried skim milk, cranberry powder, rosemary extract, parsley flake, dried chicory root, glucosamine hydrochloride, vitamin E supplement, iron proteinate, zinc proteinate, copper proteinate, ferrous sulfate, zinc sulfate, copper sulfate, potassium iodide, thiamine mononitrate, manganese proteinate, manganous oxide, chondroitin sulfate, ascorbic acid, vitamin A supplement, biotin, calcium pantothenate, manganese sulfate, sodium selenite, pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6), vitamin B12 supplement, riboflavin, vitamin D supplement, folic acid.

Im asking beacause we have 6 dogs to feed & they eat quite a lot so looking for the price too.. 3 that were rescues and 2 that were technically recues at our shelter here but were owner surrendered…
They range from 15lbs- ~50 lbs in weight.. we just started them in that.. As they are going to be making us go broke from all the food we have to buy.
Where I live its about $23 for a 40 lb bag, quite a bit cheaper then what we were paying for before switching.
