What is a magnesium flint striker and how do you use it?

I was on couldyousurvivethis.com, a website based off of the Cartoon Network show “Survive This” part of CN Real. There was a game that tested your survival skills by placing you in a forest, lost away from your group and asks you questions about survival. One of the questions was about your stock of fire-making tools, and it gave you three choices of which tool to take, either matches, a lighter, or a magnesium flint striker. The magnesium flint striker was the correct choice. It even says you could use the magnesium shavings as tinder. So what exactly is it, and how does it work? Thank you.

Switching Dog Food to Halo?

I want to change my puppy’s kibble to Halo, and I went to the dog food analysis website and it’s not listed there. So I found the ingredients and would love to know if it’s really a high quality food.

Ingredients:
Chicken, pea protein, whole dry egg, oats, vegetable broth, pearled barley, chicken fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols and citric acid), pea flour, chicken liver, salmon, flaxseed, salmon oil (preserved with mixed tocopherols), pea fiber, sweet potatoes, apples, blueberries, green beans, carrots, cranberries, zucchini, alfalfa, inulin, calcium sulfate, potassium chloride, taurine, salt, folic acid, zinc proteinate, iron proteinate, cobalt proteinate, copper proteinate, manganese proteinate, vitamin A supplement, vitamin D3 supplement, vitamin E supplement, choline bitartrate, niacin, pantothenic acid, ascorbic acid, riboflavin supplement, thiamine mononitrate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, lactobacillus acidophilus, bifidobacterium longum, enterococcus faecium, lactobacillus
I’m also really fond of it since it is made here in the US.

stating that 1950 DA is an asteroid that will set humans to their extinction. True?

Myans or Aztecs predicted 2012 to be the end of the world, so when’s the real end?

No religious answers please, I’m more of a scientologist looking for a physical answer.

What could be unique idea , to design a website on ?
for ex:
This might sound a little silly, but i think that it would be cool if you could go to a web site and enter all the food you have in the fridge and it would run through some code and a back end DB that would output recipe or dinner ideas based on the food you have availible.

Might be a lot of javascript to make this happen, but i thought of this last night while trying to decide what to make for dinner.

this is my idea, can u give me more ideas.

Yes, I am a junk food junkies whenever I am working on website or graphic projects. I notice that I like to munch on something while im working and thinking. Other than that, I don’t have the craving. What do you think is the reason and how can I prevent it?
