i believe we have to put a mask in order for acceptance n survival in society. the mask could include our way of talking, reaction, attitude n personality where we do our level best to put on the best personality, attitude, way of laughing or simply anything which also includes dressing to be deemed as sexy n fashionable although inwardly we may be really simple n plain. so where is the line between mask n deception. the mask we put cant last very long or remain identical each time. sometimes , we would tend to let go n our true boring n awkward personality would be revealed and this may confuse people, but of course we wont bother or allow that to upset us n reveal our true self, in fact we will continue putting on the mask as we move along to our best. i would like to think that this is NOT deception and that every other tom, dick n harry out there who naturally have very good people skills, do u think they really are that nice n sincere? no, cos talking n personality is their in-born talent. so wats there, why not we continue putting on our mask, afterall people are judgemental and cant accept our ugly or awkward side. do u call this deception? i would like to think NOT.i feel we should put on masks in order not to be insulted, pulled down n rejected each time. its not right for us to give ourselves out to be jokes n butt of people. agree?
