What is a good, inexpensive wine to go with the clam linguine that I’m cooking?

I like to cook, and my husband likes having wine with the meals I make. Which wines get paired up best with which foods? Are you supposed to drink red wines with certain dishes? Please give some examples of some different wines that we can try that are readily found in the supermarket.

Anniversary Wines?

I am looking for a wine that peaks in:
1) 2008 for under $20
2) 2012 for under $50
3) 2017 for under $100
to give as a wedding gift. Any suggestions about wines, sites to visit, brands, vintages, etc? Passing along reviews or websites would be very helpful. Thanks!

Sulphite free Wines, any knowledge of these?

I love a glass of wine with my food but am finding that I get a headache even after one glass. It is worse with white wines. I can only think it may be the preservatives in the wine. I have tried Organic Wine with some improvements. Are there more additives than there used to be? Any good suggestions of a low sulphite wine or possible vegetarian friendly preserve wine for my partner. Thks all :) We are UK based fyi.
