not everybody is cut out to be or wants to be a leader. it takes cojones to set the pace for everyone else, and to face criticism if your way turns out wrong. still, many people crave the risks involved, and the rewards can be staggering if you’re successful.
is it more comfortable for you to be a follower? to let someone else call the shots and then you respond? this way of life is successfully employed by many people every day. it puts food on the table and builds white picket fences.
or are you a person who gets out of the way and lets others do what they wish? maybe this is the middle ground, or maybe it means not taking a position at all. do you march to your own drum? i think of the three, this one is the most like ‘me’.
how about you? if you had to choose one of these three, which philosophy bests sums up your outlook on life… lead, follow, or get out of the way?
saxa: a born leader. people gravitate toward you because they trust you. and yes, i bet it IS tiresome. but you earned it!
zen: god helps those who help themself. stand up and be counted! thank-ya.
prettylass, i always thought it was more dangerous to be a leader… tell me more please!
confusedprincess: that’s SO me. i agree.
pagsolapur: this is true, but by leading your life in a certain way, are you not making a choice to lead or follow?
smellyfoot: so you know your strengths and play to them! yes i can imagine that you are leader material. BTW: congrats on level 3!
hikingpreacherman: your position IS one of leadership, and the best kind. but you don’t sound totally comfortable in that position, it’s not your 1st choice?
moon: you want NO PART of that stuff, eh?
atty tood, your independence is admirable. it IS possible to be neither!
karma: well you’re unique, what can i say? lol it’s possible to be a leader and not realize it, just like saxa at the top! thanks!
tearsofthemoon00, your short answer sums it up nicely…thanks!

calmecita: sorry about your rough day wednesday. i’m sure you are more a leader than you know. thank you! (hopefully this one will only go through 1 time!)
hope: maybe they aren’t followers, but instead admirers. just maybe!
mac: lol, if i’d have known you were healthy enough to answer, i would have offered a choice (d). that kind of sounds like me too, but for the sake of argument i’d call myself ‘out of the way’.
wow… i don’t think i’m qualified to judge whose way is the best, and you’re all so eloquent… sorry. you’ll have to choose!
