Ok, now a hard one: Who are you?

I’m just curious how you define yourself. I’m posting it in spirituality and religion because many people DO define themselves by their religion, but don’t feel the need based on that. I’m just wondering how you define who you are and why you live the life you live. I just want to understand the kinds of people who go to yahoo answers, also.

As for me: I’m a spiritualist otherkin agnostic Follower of Set with some atheistic and reincarnation-type ideas. I’m a furry survivalist geek who loves zombies and apokalyptic ideas. I’m a liberal Republican and wavers towards the anarchist party (heh). I’m a writer who understand the evolution of language and that math is the only complete truth. I’m a heterosexual near-asexual male feminist who is also a father and a husband. I’m a dungeon master anti-conformist with a weak long-term memory, low self-esteem, and little care to others’ thoughts and emotions. I’m most commonly called an @$$h0|3 than any other insult, but I’m smart and incredibly loyal. And I use a lot of different labels because they each bring a feeling and attitude I identify myself with in a way I don’t care if the world hears.

What would happen if an asteroid hit the earth?

I had seen an article on Yahoo saying that Obama really wanted NASA to concentrate on meeting a certain asteroid that scientists believe may have a chance of colliding with the earth in 2025. I was wondering if ALL of life on earth would cease to exist or just a portion? Is it even possible that they can throw it out of our orbit? I have seen the movie “Deep Impact” but that was a comet they were talking about!

How can this be true about the dinosaurs, when fossil evidence shows that there were almost no dinosaurs?

when the comet finally did hit the earth, no fossils of dinosaurs that is, but in this article they are saying that the asteroid/ comet took them all out, this makes no sense, and is inconsistent with the fossil evidence showing that around the time that the impact was made, that there were almost no fossils of dinosaurs even left? What is this article really saying? http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20100304/sc_nm/us_dinosaurs_asteroid

Is the pushing forward of the so-called “Doomsday Clock” a political stunt by the Bush Administration?

If you read the Yahoo news article here: http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070117/us_nm/doomsday_clock_dc_4

You will see that scientists concerned about nuclear weapons and global warming have moved the hands of the “Doomsday Clock” ahead by two minutes, symbolizing that human beings are getting closer to reaching the end of our existence. The article makes it a point to say that we are closer to having nuclear bombs used “locally” than ever before because of the threat of terrorism (which I think there is simply no real evidence for). We all know that Bush is pulling just about every string he can to get as many people to continue backing his war plans and troops buildup in the Middle East. Is this pushing the Doomsday Clock ahead yet another one of the tricks Bush and his supporters in Washington are using to scare the American public into more support for the war in Iraq (not to be confused with the “war” against terrorism)?
