   There’s a little opening to add a bottle of some sort of rinse aid, like Jet Dry. There’s nothing wrong with your dishwasher. You don’t have to use rinse aid if you don’t want to.

   that is just the soap. not the regular soap but there is a type of soap called rinse aid and it does what it says… helps aid the rinse cycle of the dishwasher…

   you don’t need rinse aid but it helps to have it.

   you need to buy jet dry and place it in the little opening next to the place where you put your soap. It generally has a screw cap on it. The light will do out when you fill it up.
