Allthough it may help with the mice problem, Do you really know what a mouce tastes like? Cats tend not to eat them due to the fact that they carrie diseases. Hence why you may wake up finding a dead one in your slipper as your cat looks proudly up at you. The answer is simple. The cats would not eat the product.

  3. personally I have never tried a mouse and probably no one else ever has to match the flavor. on the other hand, we know how tuna, chicken, beef, etc. taste so they can mimick the flavor.

  5. mice are in catfood–as well as other cats and dogs for that matter. anything they find on the road really. if you look at the label on your cat food and it says “animal bi-products” then you are getting a real cornicopia of different meats.

According to the vet I worked for, mice are the perfect food for cats. Canned mouse would be perfect but, the idea of it would not appeal to the people who buy the food.

  7. Good question. Why don’t you ask the cat food companies? :)
